Rev. Dollison accepted his call into the gospel ministry in 1983
and was later ordained at the Second Missionary Baptist Church
of Terre Haute, Indiana. He was subsequently called to pastor the
Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Terre Haute. After seven
years of faithful service, church growth, and development, Pastor Dollison was called in 1992 to serve as the 15th pastor of the First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) in Winter Haven, Florida.
Since 1992, Pastor Dollison has served FMBC with vision that has generated many new church ministries and services. In 1997, he led the largest building program in the church’s rich history, culminating in a new edifice to meet growing ministry needs. That vision also led to the purchase of the former Haven Community Center which was reopened as the First Missionary Baptist Community Center.
Pastor Dollison continues to serve the church and Community in such capacities as: second vice president of the Winter Haven Interfaith Ministerial Alliance; Senior Chaplin for the Winter Haven Police Department; and president of Congress Number Three. He is a current Board member, and two-time former chair, of the Polk Ecumenical Action Council for Empowerment or P.E.A.C.E. (click here). He has served as past president of the NAACP Winter Haven Branch and past educational dean for Congress Number Three. Pastor Dollison is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Lakeland Alumni Chapter.
Pastor and First Lady Dollison have three adult children: Trista (son-in-law Clarence Manuel), Bradley (daughter-in-law Indya, granddaughter Amerie), and Austin.
